Another gassy creation spawned from play in Photoshop. I really enjoyed this one, and love these types of nebulae. I found it easier to paint a custom brush and use it for some of the nice gas formations, it really gives a great effects.
Thanks man, I think I'll take another look at this one later and make some changes to better the composition; I've had a few suggestions from people already, and whenever I look at it things start bothering me. So yea, thanks for your suggestions
Lmao wait I thought this was a comment on another deviation. 'Tis why it's good to pay attention. But yea, I think I need to add a bit more saturation in places maybe, and perhaps add more padding around the picture so I can fit in more glow and isolate the nebula a bit more.
Another beautiful piece. Though I feel as is depth lacks here, simply because of the stars themselves. If you notice they all appear to be behind or in the nebula itself. Bring forward a few of them, big and small to give more depth.
Also, I feel that the outer edge lighting ends abruptly. If you notice the nebula fades out, spherically around each main arm, also the colour tones differ (blue straight into soft black). I feel that if you simply continue the colour to the outer edge this will clarify the piece, but donít make it too flat of course. This in a frame looks exquisite, so that too would be a nice addition.
What you have mastered is the feeling of birth, which you show genuine creativity in making the major proto stars encased in the nebula, as if it is cradling them like babies, which is more or less what happens naturally. Your colours are also very well composed. And your star field is masterful with its varied sized stars, but remember their brightness.
